Viggo, a working class family father and thorough traditionalist with petit-bourgeois of views, is thrown totally out of the whack when he is laid off the factory where he has been a skilled welder for 25 years. How he meets his mid-life crisis, which extends into the martial sphere, is the grist of Erik Clausen's comedy mill, including as always touches of genuine tragedy.
