Eight-year-old Julius lives in an orphanage. Julius is a bit of an outsider and secretly still believes in Santa Claus. When he is confronted with the fact that Santa Claus may just be the headmaster of the orphanage dressing up, Julius loses not only his belief in Santa, but also the belief in himself. But then something strange happens, and suddenly Julius finds himself in a magic world.
Feature debut by Jacob Ley. The film screened at the Busan Film Festival, among others. Ley is a 2006 animation graduate from the National Film School of Denmark. His animation short The Secret of the Ice Flower (2012) was selected for festival screenings in Malmö, London, Sheffield and Thessaloniki.
