Born 1975, Denmark. Thulstrup graduated as director of fiction from the National Film School of Denmark in 2005.
The football documentary 'Danish Dynamite' (2008) was his directorial debut. The film won a GuldDok for Best Feature-length Dok at CPH:DOX in 2008. Since then Thulstrup has directed several documentaries such as 'Jernhårde Ladies' (2010) and 'Fall of Kings' (2019). Alongside Stig Guldberg, he co-directed 'The Originals' (2018), which was selected for CPH:DOX.
Thulstrup has also served as an episode director on season 2 of both 'The Legacy' (2015) and 'Follow the Money' (2016).
