"The Company" følger livet, kærligheden og dramaerne på den verdenskendte Joffrey Ballet. I centrum af dansegruppen er Ry (Campbell) - en benhård, talentfuld danser, som har fået chancen for at blive solodanser. Ry kæmper for at nå toppen men må samtidig kæmpe for kærligheden, da hun opdager, at kæresten - danseren Frankie - har en affære med Emily, som også er en del af gruppen.
