High school fresher Victor falls head over heels in love with a senior girl, Anja. On the face of it a hopeless dream. Anja is dating upper-class Peter, a Casanova complete with sports car and hair on chest. Victor is clumsy and nerdish; words just tumble out of his mouth. But things like that don't stop the irrepressible Victor in his determined attempts to win the favour of his fair maid. Luckily he gets a bit of help from a bird-catching spider and two real brats who're out to shoot a Dogme film about Victor's disastrous love-life, all proving that you can still dream about winning the princess and half the kingdom even if you look more like the prince's white horse than the prince himself.
