Kasper Dissing

Producer. Born 4/6 1987. Graduated from the alternative film school Super16 in 2016. Also holds a Bachelor's degree in law from Copenhagen University.

Dissing was nominated for a Danish Robert Award for best short for his graduation film 'Halvmand' (2016), directed by Frederik Louis Hviid. He started his career as a producer in 2010 and subsequently worked as a producer assistant on films such as Oscar-nominated 'The Hunt' (2012) by Thomas Vinterberg, 'The Salvation' (2014) by Kristian Levring and 'A Second Chance' (2015) by Susanne Bier.

He got his feature film debut with Vinterberg's 'Another Round' (2020), which was selected for the festival in Cannes, Toronto, San Sebastian and London. The film won awards at the two latter festivals and also received four European Film Awards, including the main prize for best European feature. Furthermore, the film was nominated for a Golden Globe and two Oscars.

Dissing also served as associate producer on Vinterberg's 'The Commune' (2016), which won a Silver Bear at the Berlinale.
