Screenwriter. Born 27/11 1960. Originally trained as a journalist. Graduated as a screenwriter from the National Film School of Denmark in 1995.
Andersens made his feature film debut as a screenwriter with 'Pizza King' (1999), which marked the start of a creative partnership with director Ole Christian Madsen. He since wrote the screenplays for the tv series 'The Spider' (2000), 'At the Faber' (2000) and 'Forsvar' (2003).
The audience hit 'Flame & Citron' (2008) marked his second film with Ole Christian Madsen. He since wrote screenplays for the feature films 'The Shooter' (2013), which screened at Göteborg Film Festival, and 'The Idealist' (2015), which won the prize for best director at Beijing Film Festival. 'The Day We Died' (2020) is his third film with Christian Madsen.
Has also worked as an episode writer on the tv series 'Arvingerne' season 1, 'Norskov' season 1 and 'Below the Surface' (2017).
