Producer. Born 25/3 1963. Graduated as a producer from the National Danish Film School in 1999. Kaufmann worked at Nimbus Film until 2009 and founded the production company Toolbox Film in 2011 with producer Signe Leick Jensen.
Morten Kaufmann is the producer behind the two Dogme films 'Mifune' (1999) and 'Kira's Reason - A Love Story' (2002). He has worked with renowned director Thomas Vinterberg on productions such as Cannes winner and Oscar nominee 'The Hunt' (2012), 'Submarino' (2011), which won both Robert and Bodil Awards, and 'The Collective' (2016). In 2017 he produced Henrik Ruben Genz's drama 'Word of God'. In 2019 he was behind 'Hacker' and 'Daniel', the latter based on the acclaimed bestseller 'ISIS Hostage' by Puk Damsgård.
