Editor, director. Born 1962. Graduated as a film editor from The National Film School of Denmark in 1991.
Thuesen has worked as an editor since 1987. He made his debut as a documentary director in 1996 with 'Under New York'. His third documentary 'Freeway' (2005) won two prizes at CPH:DOX. In 'The Missing Films' (2019) Thuesen follows his previous collaborator Lars von Trier during the making of 'The House That Jack Built'.
Thuesen made his feature film debut with 'Accused' (2005), which competed in the main competition at the Berlinale. He since directed 'The Early Years - Erik Nietzsche Part I' (2007) and the tv series 'The Left Wing Gang' (2009-2010).
