Producer. Born 1980. Graduated as a producer from the National Film School of Denmark in 2011. He also has a BA in Business Communication and International Marketing from Copenhagen Business School. Before his studies, Jersin worked as a journalist for the Danish daily Berlingske Tidende. Shortly after his film school graduation, Jersin was headhunted by Nimbus Film to work as producer and international co-producer.
Jersin's first film as producer on a Danish major is 'Sparrows' (Rúnar Rúnarsson, 2015). Works as international co-producer include 'Hotel' (Lisa Langseth, Sweden, 2013), 'Virgin Mountain' (Dagur Kári, Iceland, 2015), 'Louder Than Bombs' (Joachim Trier, Norway, 2015), 'Birds of Passage' (2018) and 'A White White Day' (2019). He also produced the Danish films 'Sticks & Stones' (2018), 'Suicide Tourist' (2019) and 'Wildland' (2020).
Jersin was named one of Screen International's Future Leaders in 2015.
Founded the production company Snowglobe in 2015 with Katrin Pors and Eva Jakobsen.
