Born 1964. Giese graduated as a film editor from the Danish Film School in 1993 and has been working with renowned Danish directors such as Per Fly, Thomas Vinterberg and Jesper W. Nielsen. He has several times been awarded the prestigious Danish Robert Award.
As director, Morten Giese has worked in television and his short film 'The Boy Below' (2002) won a Robert Award, and his short film 'My Dad is a Champ' (2004) was selected for Berlin Film Festival.
'Love and Rage' is Morten Giese's first feature film as a director.
Giese was feature film consultant at The Danish Film Institute from september 2016 to januar 2019.
