Seasoned broadcast professional (ex BBC/ Disney)  and multi-award winning transmedia specialist Marc Goodchild talks about how two-screen has come of age and how his company SyncsScreen are trying get past the technology barriers to create truly sympathetic experiences that audiences actually want. After a successful year developing a number of apps for producers and broadcasters in the UK and US, he believes that the novelty factor has worn off and it's now time to let the creative community loose to invent some exciting new opportunities.
In this talk, he will share learning’s from the last year on the frontline and explain how the best experiences come together when the editorial producers, commercial teams, app developers and interactive designers work in tandem. He will be joined by TV producer, Bethan Gorman, from Bafta-winning Citrus TV, to explain how careful attention is taken on the linear parts of the show too to ensure it all gets together, and how they've had to reinvent the traditional production pipeline accordingly. Plus there will be a live demo. What more could go wrong!
